The video for Kenny Chesney's new song "All The Pretty Girls" was shot by students at Belmont University and Middle Tennessee State University, who were called upon to enter some of their work for his latest single in order to earn the opportunity to be featured on all platforms. Jessica Martinez, a motion pictures major, and Will Renner, a music business student, co-directed short film and put their own nostalgic spin of falling in love during the summer months.
“Our vision was to capture the essence of a summer fling – just the feeling of freedom and having fun, not taking things too seriously,” Jessica said of the treatment. “Because Will is from Virginia, he was able to get people he knows from high school (to be part of it), which made it really fun to shoot.”
After many considerations by Kenny, he selected their approach to the lighthearted song and they won the coveted prize of having their work debuted on CMT. They also walk away with $5000 toward their tuition through a special scholarship created by the country singer and his team.
