The film is going to be called Something In The Water, and will be a comedy featuring Miranda as one of 5 women who challenge their men to a bass fishing contest. Think Bridesmaids crossed with Steel Magnolias.
A director has not been named yet, though Fanjoy does hope to direct it herself. No official release date has been set yet, and no word on who else besides Miranda will be in the film. Still, sounds like it could be fun! And don't forget, this is not Miranda's first acting gig...she did a guest spot on Law & Order: SVU!
A few weeks ago, we told you about the gang from the hit History Channel show American Pickers making a return trip to maine. They still haven't said exactly where they plan to do their picking, but we do know a little more about what they're looking for: undiscovered treasures in private collections - "...the dirtier and dustier the better."
If you've seen the show, you know they're definitely NOT looking for museums, antique stores, garage sales, etc. Large, private collections where they can do a lot of digging are what they want.
Click here to read a great interview in the Portland Pres Herald with one of the producers of the show, explaining what they have in mind for their trip to Maine.
If you think you've got what Mike and Frank are looking for, you can call and leave a message at (646) 493-2184, or you can send an e-mail to the show at AmericanPickers@Cineflix.com

Interesting story out of Chula Vista, California: a woman says she was escorted out of a Brad Paisley concert for breast feeding her baby. The police, on the other hand, say they removed her from the area for the safety of her child. The incident occurred in the pit area, right in front of the stage. Security says they feared the crowd was going to surge forward, putting the child in danger of being crushed. They also said the child had no hearing protection on, even though he and his mother were right in front of the speakers.
Brad Paisley is on record as saying he thinks the woman made a bad decision, and that his own kids rarely attend shows, and when they do, they always wear hearing protection. Click here to read an article and watch a news report about the incident.
What do you think? Was she kicked out for breast feeding? Or did she make a bad decision when she brought an infant down to the front of the stage with no hearing protection? We'd love to hear your opionion on this story. Head on over to the WOLF Facebook page and weigh in!

To their credit, Rolling Stone Magazine (not exactly a haven for country music) has really stepped up their country music coverage as of late. Here's a very good RS article with a more detailed breakdown of what Garth revealed in his big press conference, including what we can expect from the new album and tour. Click here
Here at The WOLF, we're fortunate enough to have a job where we get to play the music that you guys love every day. But sometimes, people forget that we're all music fans too! Ever wonder what your favorite DJ's have been listening to lately? Well, wonder no more! Here's a small sampling of what the WOLF on-air staff has been jamming to recently, both country and non-country:
DAVE & MICHELLE
Dave says: "I've been really diggin' the new Eric Church album. It's great because it's a little 'outside the mold' of what everyone else is doing right now. And 'Cold One' is such a great song!" As far as non-country goes, Dave says: "I DJ a lot of live events, so I've been enjoying some dance music and hip hop lately, like Iggy Azalea."
Michelle says: "I'm in summer mode right now, so anything that has to do with that relaxed summertime feeling is what I'm enjoying these days, stuff like 'Beachin'' from Jake Owen or 'Drunk On A Plane' from Dierks Bentley." And for when she's in the mood for something non-country? "I like Prince, because we used to listen to the 'Purple Rain' album before going out on a Friday night in college! Oh, and I like that new Justin Timberlake/Michael Jackson song, just because it reminds me of the funkier stuff Michael used to do in the late 70's."
Amy says: "I like anything with a good beat. And since it's summertime, anything that I can cruise around and jam to with the sunroof open on a sunny day is always good. I love 'Song About a Girl' by Eric Paslay for all those reasons. And the fact that Eric is easy on the eyes doesn't hurt either!" Amy is super active, so it's no surprise that when it comes to non-country, anything that gets her up and moving does the trick. "Anything with a beat that's really upbeat and makes me run faster, I'm there," says Amy. "'Scream' by Usher, even though it's a few years old by now, still gets me goin' every time!"
Rick says: "I really like 'Colder Weather' by Zac Brown Band. Sorta' reminds me of that old song from the 70's 'Please Come to Boston' by Dave Loggins. Also, 'Play It Again' from Luke Bryan has the best hook of any country tune I've heard all summer, and Natalie Stovall and the Drive are pretty rockin' for a country band." As far as non country goes, Rick says: "I like loud hard rock, especially Black Sabbath. Because when I really want to annoy my neighbors, Taylor Swift ain't gonna' cut it!"
Andy says: "Eric Church is good. And I've really been enjoying that new Dierks Bentley album. With songs like 'Drunk On A Plane' and 'Sounds Of Summer', it's just a fun summertime record". Andy has pretty diverse tastes, so when he's not cranking the country tunes, what does he listen to? "Right now, David Gray," he says. "Good singer, good lyrics. And Mastodon too, because they rock. Too many others to list..."
So, now that you've got a better idea of what we're all enjoying lately, head on over to the WOLF Facebook page and share what you've been listening to!
