1.

How much does it cost to sell my odds and ends at the yard sale?

Sellers of regular Household items (dishes, pots, pans, knick knacks, furniture, clothing, toys, etc).  The price per each 12 x 12 space is $40.

 

Home based businesses (crafters, jewelry, clothing) or any manufactured, mass produced product.  This includes items like toiletries, shampoo, deodorants, etc.  The price per each 12 x 12 space is $85

 

Retail businesses.  If you operate a retail business with store location, you are also welcome to sell at the Ultimate Yard Sale.  You will receive a 18x18 space for $500.

Where is the yard sale?

Cumberland Fair Grounds, 197 Blanchard Rd, Cumberland Center, ME

3.

When can we set up?

Setup is between 5:30am and 8am only the day of the event. If you do not arrive to set up by 8am you will forfeit your right to sell and your registration fee.

There is a different fee to enter the yard sale as a business.

5. Will there be food and drinks for sale at the Yard Sale? Yes.
6. Will there be restrooms?  Yes.
7. Will there be handicap parking?  Yes.
8.

What does it cost to enter the yard sale as a customer?

$5 for everyone 13 and older. Children under 12 are free.

9.

Will there be emergency services available?

Yes. Both the Cumberland Fire Department and Police Department will be on the grounds at all times.

10.

Where does the registration fee to sell at the yard sale go to?

To cover the expenses and marketing of the yard sale.

11.

How many people attend the yard sale as customers?

We average about 5,000 people over a 5 hour period.

12.

Are we allowed to have our vehicles at our selling space while selling our stuff?

No. There will be reserved parking for all sellers. We will allow vehicles in the selling area to set up only.

13. Can I use an e-z up tent? Yes. As long as it fits within your reserved area.
14. What if it rains on the date of the event? A new date will be scheduled.
15.

Can I pay my registration fee by credit card?

Yes. Call 207-797-0780 ext. 200 and ask for Bob Dorie weekdays between 9am and 5pm.

16.

If I’m sending in my fee by check or money order where do I send it?

17. Who do I make the payment out to? Binnie Media.
18.

Can I sell anything I want at the yard sale?

No. The Ultimate Yard Sale reserves the right to prevent the selling of anything we feel is inappropriate for all ages and dangerous to the general public.

19.

Can I sell food or drinks at the yard sale?

No. Only licensed vendors that are approved through the Ultimate Yard Sale can sell food or drink.
